What is the Clan Stewart Connection to Doune Castle?

Doune Castle has strong connections to the history of Clan Stewart. Located near the village of Doune in Stirling, the castle was built in the 14th century by Robert Stewart, Duke of Albany, the younger brother of King Robert III of Scotland.
