What is the Cameron Connection to Tor Castle?
The site of Tor Castle, overlooking the banks of the River Lochy, was historically significant for Clan Cameron. Sadly now only overgrown traces of the castle are left but nonetheless this view captures a setting that played a big part in the Cameron's story. Under the Camerons, the castle served as a refuge from attacks by the Clan MacDonald of Keppoch.
