This photo’s story…
What is the MacMillan Connection to Ben Lawers?
Lawers Village, under Ben Lawers in Perthshire, was probably the seat of Clan MacMillan's chief, who sheltered Robert the Bruce. Though it passed to the Campbells by 1370, its early connection to the MacMillans and picturesque location on Loch Tay's banks remain emblematic of the clan's Highland heritage.
Where is Ben Lawers?
Ben Lawers is in the Breadalbane area of the Perth & Kinross region.
