What is the MacEwan Connection to MacEwan Castle (site of)?
MacEwan Castle, known as Caisteal Mhic Eoghain in Gaelic, once stood as a stronghold for Clan MacEwan on the east shore of Loch Fyne. Though little remains of the castle itself, a cairn monument erected by The Clan Ewen Society in 1990 marks this precious site of pilgrimage for Clan MacEwan members.
