Photographer Aly Wight took this photograph of Castle Fraser in Aberdeenshire, one of the grandest tower houses in the north-east of Scotland. The Frasers held this land from 1454, and over the next two centuries they kept building. What started as a modest tower was expanded in the 1570s and again in the 1630s until it became the castle you see today. Five generations of Frasers poured their ambition into this one place.

If you carry the Fraser name, Castle Fraser is what five generations of ambition looked like in the north-east of Scotland. It is still standing.

Sizing Information

Please note: The listed size (e.g., 16"x12") for Framed & Mounted prints refers to the glazed area, including the printed image and 2" wide mount. The frame, adding an extra 1" per side, isn't included in these dimensions. Therefore, the total product size will be larger than the dimensions given.
